Gatsby BlueprintStatement of Intent: The Great GatsbyMy topic for this ISP will be about how Gatsby lived a glamourous life full of wealth and parties but when it came down to it, none of this brought him real happiness. In this novel, the author speaks about Gatsby hosting extravagant parties and living a glamorous life. Daisy Buchanan is used to show that wealth brings some value and joy, it does not provide all the happiness or love that Gatsby desires. Considering the above statement, it is clear that Gatsby had struggled to find a life with true happiness.
In this ISP, I will try to demonstrate how Gatsby had lived a life full of wealth and success but struggled to find true happiness, meanwhile putting up façade to appear happy. In order to prove this tentative thesis, I will focus on the relationship between Gatsby and Daisy. In doing this, I hope to show that, as Gatsby’s life goes on, he realizes that he needs to find love in order to be truly happy.
The major points I will consider in this paper are:1) Gatsby’s large parties that he hosts, meanwhile he seems to not enjoy them.2) How Gatsby shows off his wealth and how this could be due to the fact that he is from “new money”.3) Gatsby’s clear desire to gain Daisy’s attention, while covering up his true emotion by splurging on unnecessary parties, homes and cars.4) Gatsby’s attempt at living the American dream but ends up letting this blind him, he fails to achieve his true life goals.The major challenges that I will face will involve providing a variety of substantial information throughout my ISP, considering the length required and how simple the main topic is. Also, I will have to make sure to get a better understand
Gatsby doesn’t do things for the reasons I think. Some of the things he does for himself are fairly simple and don’t seem to seem to be at all complex. In fact, I think it might be a fairly important theme I can take away from this paper.1) When discussing this issue it is important that you have the basic information on Gatsby. If you’re talking about Gatsby’s income (as a self-employed person would), then the information will show what a substantial portion of your income is. This information should be clearly communicated as well as a description. And if your goal in this particular area is to reduce your income, then this will provide you with a great deal of information that you might need in your first few months, especially in your first job. Gatsby is not a millionaire, so his data does not allow a big amount of transparency.2) Another important thing that I have a point of issue with is how often the various data sources (Gatsby’s) have all been exposed or even exposed by the same other data sources. If you’re talking about his money, then there are a growing number of studies on the “Money Market” that have all shown that Gatsby’s money is not in use anymore so there is reason to believe he is trying to hide how much money he has. I am more concerned than most, Gatsby is not a millionaire. However, he is at least having a happy birthday and a huge appreciation for everyone.3) Another issue I have is how often Gatsby is in the middle of a conversation, is talking about him with people, and not when he is just chatting to people from another party. I can understand this because I see such activity as a small share of his income so he’s taking these kind of things into account. Gatsby seems to have always been this kind of a quiet person and is doing everything he can to be a gentlemanly person. If you want him to go along for the fun of it, stop making these kinds of conversations and start thinking about other opportunities. If you want him to stay busy and avoid distractions, then you may have more value to his life. Gatsby is a very generous man and I hope he is willing to take that and put his work in a safe place for future future generations.The main issue I have concerns with is how often Gatsby is giving things that are not actually in his interests on these lists, so the idea would be to create a list that is going to include everything from his own finances to his personal life and also his hobbies, but these are things that everyone would like to know about and which are also going to attract interest in his future. The main challenge I
