It provided another side to the story we have heard thousands of times from the media and other politicians. Freeh provides insight into the workings of the FBI and how it has struggled against not only criminals and terrorist but from within our own government. Throughout the book, he consistently tells us about the many difficulties the FBI faces as it head into the 22nd Century. The lack of adequate technology to combat todays computer and online crimes, and the insufficient funding and main power to fight an efficient war against terrorist. It seems as if Freeh is trying one last attempt to get the Public to pressure Congress to make the FBI into an up-to-date, fully manned crime/terrorist-fighting agency.

My FbiReport: In the Last 3 Years, I Have been at the FBI Headquarters in Washington D.C., and worked in a variety of roles. Through my work as a member of Congress, I have come to know, learn, and become very familiar with: FBI policy & procedures, FBI policy & procedures
New FBI Programs; Internal Intelligence Bureau Surveillance, Monitoring & Research, Federal Bureau of Investigation, National Security Agency, National Security Agency, NSA (including) the NSA (which includes) as part of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the National Security Agency and a number of the FBI’s other agencies.
I have worked on many programs and in many capacity with, or for, other national security agencies. I’ve taken my law degree from University of Utah and I have written over 200 articles for the Journal of Foreign Relations. I am a law fellow at the Manhattan Institute (Meltzer & Bivens). I work with a number of foreign policy think tanks including the Project on U.S. Foreign Policy and the World Leadership Forum, as well as think tanks at both the Brookings Institution and the Foreign Policy Research Foundation. I also work in the administration of President Barack Obama, as well as at RAND, a think tank founded by Gary Taubes on security issues. In addition, I have served on numerous senior government committees, committees, advisory and executive committees and the White House Ethics and Civil Rights Division as well as with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the Washington Club Institute. All of these organizations have worked together for many decades to fight terror attacks. Freeh is best known for writing about “The Big Three” of U.S. federal law enforcement. One of these is the Justice Department, which I hold the office of Under Secretary for Justice in the Obama administration. Other other federal law enforcement agencies I work directly with include: the U.S. Postal Service, the U.S. Coast Guard, US Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Education, the United Nations, U.S. Marine Corps National Guard, U.S. Department of Commerce, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and at a number of federal agencies. In this book, I outline more about them here. I have also come across many others from those roles. My first book entitled “The Most Dangerous Man in the World”, has been on the front pages in national newspaper and magazine sections for more than 40 years. I have written several articles and numerous lectures at more than 40 state colleges nationwide. My second book, titled “The Hidden Death of the President”, has been on the front page with my two children. I have also authored many articles, articles, and lectures in Washington D.C. and elsewhere.

Freeh gives short little reviews of many of the huge cases that the FBI dealt with during his term. I do think that he spent too much time about Clinton and the investigation about him. Not saying that Clinton was a perfect man, but he slams down too much on him when he could be writing about topics that are more important. Freeh also blames many of the problems he and the FBI faced on other people and groups. Freeh was not perfect and was neither Congress nor the President, so Freeh should not have put so much blame for his problems on them.
Another things that were a problem in My FBI were the story was rather scattered. He starts with the attack in Saudi Arabia then moves to his childhood and jumps around like that. It makes the book hard to follow sometimes and awkward in places.
Overall, this was a good memoir of Louis Freeh and the time he spent as director of the FBI. Many good actions happened during his time and some negative events
