Immigration
An estimated 11,000,000 immigrants are living illegally in the United States. Immigrants are a benefit to some, while they are a burden to others. All Christians should, first and foremost, obey Gods word, then help legalize illegal immigrants.
As Christians, we are simply supposed to obey the word of God, the Bible. The Bible tells us to follow the laws our rulers, unless it contradicts with the Gods word.
Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers
that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of
God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not a terror to
good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good,
and thou shalt have praise of the same: (King James Version Bible, Romans 13. 1-3).
“Peter and the other apostles replied: “We must obey God rather than human beings!” (New International Version Bible, Acts 5. 29). For any true, Bible-believing Christians out there, the above scriptures is all that you truly need. We want to receive Gods blessing, and in order to do so, we need to be obedient servants of Christ. Romans 13: 1-3 is clearly telling us to obey our leaders, and in this case, we need to aid the government export any illegal immigrants that we can. Any Christian business owners, managers, or supervisors need to refrain hiring any illegal immigrants, even if it means saving money by paying them lower wages, simply because it is against the law, and we are to obey to law. Acts 5. 29 on the other hand, tells us obey God instead of man. So the only time Christians are ever

supposed to disobey our laws, superiors, or political leaders is when they contradict with Gods word; regarding immigration, none of our nations laws are violating the word of God at the moment.
God allows everything for a reason, and he does have a plan. “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose” (King James Version Bible, Romans 8. 28). Romans 8. 28 shows us that God is in control, and that he is still on the throne. So as Christians, we have nothing to fear, knowing that God has allowed the immigration laws to be put into place. In the upcoming 2012 national election, many candidates will be wanting our vote. How do we, as Christians, filter out the good candidates from the bad candidates, and find a candidate that can really help this issue? The best thing we can do is do our research first of all, and then vote for the candidate that seems to be right with God. The candidate Christians vote for, should most importantly, have a good religious back round. The candidate should not allow anything to come between their relationship with God. Not only because God comes first, but because it is due to Gods grace and mercy, and Gods plan that even allowed them to be elected as a candidate in the first place! “For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.” (King James Version Bible, Romans 9. 17) It is not due to that candidates hard work, or intelligence that put them where they are now. Regardless of which candidate is elected, it will be the right candidate, because it is God that has allowed them to fill that position and God will be glorified by it. So if a candidate does not seem to have a close relationship with God, or is fearful of demonstrating their faith, then they should not be considered for your vote.
Many wonder what the solution to illegal immigration is, but is there really a good one that is fair to all? The answer is yes! To identify and to round up all the illegal immigrants is impossible. Attempting to do so would take all of our time and resources, and put our economy to a halt. Would you really want your tax dollars to go to waste by exporting some of the many illegal immigrants and
