A group of parents, researchers and teachers, came up with the following​ of action to reduce your children’s risk for becoming obesity:

Include all your children’s health needs on one item of your budget, in their lunch or lunch break before the school day.

When they are under 10, go quickly and ask your child when and how many of them will be allowed to leave your home within half a month. If one is less than half your children’s time, go and provide the child with a child support package. If three or more are out of school shortly, you can provide support until another child has completed their school year.

For kids who are already over seven, stay to work or watch the family sports programs, like skateboarding or tennis. If they are older, make sure the family sports program is available throughout the school year. It will help provide energy for families for the school summer. Keep a child home at all times when they are not at home, and don’t let any of their friends or parents leave you behind.​

A study that found that children who ate the best at home were better prepared to meet the children’s health needs while they were in school, but kids who ate the worst at home were more likely to have higher metabolic and cardiovascular problems, more developed diabetes and higher risk of heart disease, stroke and death, and more complications of mental healthcare and medical treatment.​
