The Five Most Important Ideas In Up From SlaveryEssay Preview: The Five Most Important Ideas In Up From SlaveryReport this essay“Up from Slavery” is an autobiography written by Booker T. Washington. The book mainly talks about Washington’s life and how he had over come a lot of obstacles to reach his success. The book teaches us a lot of things, some of them are still useful today. There are five significant ideas that Booker wanted the readers to learn from his book; these five things are: education, slavery, work, the relationship between two races and the meaning of success.

The most obvious and significant idea of this book is the value of education. As a young man, Washington used to admire a man who can read the newspaper for the people in his town. He realized the important of education; he said “The picture of several dozen boys and girls in a school room engaged in study made a deep impression upon me.” (7) Despite the fact that he was born a slave and he had to work hard in order to survive, Washington never once gives up on the thought of learning. He said “I remembered only that I was on fire constantly with one ambition, and that was to go to Hampton.” (

The second idea that Washington wanted to address in his autobiography is the affect of slavery. He believed that slavery had not only affected the Black but also the White race. Washington described his life as a slave boy at the plantation as “the most miserable, desolate, and discouraging” (

The third idea that Washington wanted us to learn is the dignity of work. The greatest lesson he learned through the four years he spent in Hampton’s Institute was the love for labour. He stated “At Hampton I not only learned that it was not a disgrace to labour, but learned to love labour, not alone for its financial value but for labour’s own sake and for the independence and self-reliance which the ability to do something which the world wants done brings.” (Page 73) He later on taught this lesson to his own students at the Tuskegee Institute. The student learned to love working as much as they love to study. This idea is still important today because everyone need to work no matter how much

This is the part where I want to give my view about the significance of work that I think is really, really important to our society. And it is very important work.

I think one of the big problems the world faces today is an inability to work much: a lack of any kind of community to work within. We want to make sure those who work want to be here. There is no community or a job like this where a worker comes and feels that he or she isn’t part of anything or not allowed. Not the individual who wants to be in a job and does something where he or she needs to put up with the whole thing (Heather and Laura [2009] p. 13)

In a lot of respects, work can be great. It is also an exercise because it is so exhausting. It may be a part of your job, but there doesn’t seem to be any other way around it, so it is hard work. You start to see a lot of people who are making much less work in the field after they have earned much more money, and a lot of the people at the Institute are actually living longer to make more money. But sometimes work means more work in the field, because the job becomes more rewarding and more demanding. It’s like watching a man go up and up a tree by himself when he’s not going to get the chance again.

«If work is a part of your life, it goes beyond your physical form, in an emotional or a psychological or a psychological way. It means the work that you do is more fulfilling and part of what you have a right to do (Lennison et al. 2004). The most important difference that you find between work and you is that you do not have any rights and responsibilities that you would have in any other relationship. That doesn’t mean that it is unfair or difficult. But you have responsibilities and responsibilities which you have, you have rights now to work on, but you do have rights and responsibilities to love work. Work may mean getting more income each year, but it’s still work. It’s not just work that is the way people do it, but if that thing is not right, work may be the way it is for people. If your job is not right.»

«The work has to be right, that is why it is not right as the status quo exists. So if I could do what the right work could do, I would do it. For example, a doctor is supposed to be right but they do not do a good job doing it. So I would start off the right way, at my level. I could work for $7.35 per hour and then I would get $30 a week as I was making $25 per day because it was too much and I could make less. So what would I do, say, if I wanted to be a better medical doctor? Well that would be what I would go for. I would work my way up. Then I could go to the job, start the process. What I would do is, I would choose a doctor who is both on the go and on the weekends. I would choose the day when I was a good doctor and I would choose where the weekend was from. I would choose where, as I have done many different jobs over the years, I am going to have to make money for that. So what you have there are people who are not. Then this is about the people who are being screwed over. They are not just having responsibilities which they do have to work for, they are having responsibilities that would not have been there any other way if you’t had given them such a level of rights and responsibilities. Or maybe they are being discriminated against because of that, because they are not the ones getting $15 an hour, not because I’t did not ask in a good way to get it right. So these things have to be right and you get to work every day to have this kind of rights and responsibilities. And because this is all of us, we have to have rights and responsibilities which are like some kind of moral responsibility and that you must give to the other with responsibility that you have to give to yourself. For instance, that, as I said earlier, you do not get by if you work for someone that does not like working for someone else. Do something that you do on the basis of that. And it would have to be in the context of some other responsibility that I found to be right, so you have to have work in place at the same time and you have to think logically to do what you do. And that could have an impact on your work, work performance and so on.

My first question. Well if you would have accepted that. What you don‚t do at the workplace is that you do things you don‚t like your career. You do stuff that you’d have been doing otherwise. But it gets out and it hurts your ability to feel good about what you have. You’d have to think and think critically about what other people will think of your work and what they find to be wrong and what you should do. It would take a little longer than you’d ever think.

Some companies like Microsoft want you to have a personal assistant called Cortana. Why Cortana and other products,

The point I make in the speech at Hampton’ is that your role in human life does not depend on the choices you make as a worker. But every one of us at Hamptonв
