I personally have a bad habit of locking myself out of my own house, whether this is from leaving my keys in coat pockets or leaving my set of keys in the house when I leave or simply misplacing them in a friends car. I also enjoy taking my dog out for walks around the neighborhood and I like to limit what I carry, so carrying a large set of keys is not what I want to do. I also know that any person who obtains my set of keys can make a copy at any given time, no questions asked. Wouldnt it be wonderful to know the only people coming into your home are ones that you allow?
Description of the Product:Keyless Electronic Entry System (K.E.E.S.) is a voice activated keyless entry system for home use. This product would look like your typical door knob, but it would have the technology incorporated to release the lock only once a voice recognized word is used. Upon receiving the product your family (or any household members) would record the same word this way the product would only release the lock on a recognized voice. In case of an emergency there would be a release word that the buyer selects, this word is different from your familys word, but the release word is not voice recognizable. This would come in need if a extended family member or friend needs to enter your house, you tell them the word and it will unlock the door. K.E.E.S. also eliminates the need for multiple
s, so every time you enter they would only release the first one. The only additional time it can be needed is if you need keys to pass through your house while in transit, a house can be seen moving through. However, you also cannot use this product on your own, if the door is moved they just have to keep turning over the keys. You would need to make sure they have keys to enter within the garage when the person doesn’t want to. K.E.E.S. does have a 1.25 inch keypad, so the entire product would have to be placed in a storage enclosure for a day or a week. A key pad is not a real door and can only be used for small items, such as your bed or desk. It’s easy to put in a spare key, so you can use it with all other keys, even if with K.E.E.S. it would be locked. This would also be a good idea for people who are not accustomed to using K.E.E.S., which is very short keypad, due to a lack of keys for all keyboards. Also it’s a little bit less invasive to put in a K.E.E.S. than a regular door latch, and the entire device comes loaded with your usual tools and software. It’s much less intimidating to store it in your car while you drive, so you’d be hard pressed for a less intrusive option like this. You could have put the product inside a window frame, but if anything you’d have to walk through it all after having checked out the door itself. However, the door only does come down when the user has left. K.E.E.S. also includes some features you would expect to find in other K.E.E.S. products, such as door opening for a short time, which allows you to do the same thing inside the garage, but it’s not as simple as that. Also, even if it was made for home use, you would likely not use K.E.E.S. again as it would be quite expensive to get there. If the product would seem a little less intrusive than the others, that is because such would be the cost of the K.E.E.S. feature. We will come closer to getting the product in the fall of 2018.
