Received all incoming mail including certified and registered mail, express mail, pouch material, etc., and processed in accordance with established policy. Prepared and screened outgoing mail materials to assure that they are in proper format, assembled and addressed in accordance to appropriate Postal regulations (e.g., packages are marked with the proper weight class) and resolve any discrepancies. A P.O. sent a message to the PO box at an address corresponding to the mail address in question, informing the P.O. of information regarding the requested location. It directed the person on the phone to the assigned number on the record and informed the recipient and designated recipient of the list of mail addresses that they should contact to inquire about their mailbox.
