HistoryParacale Fire Station BackgroundThe site in Meralco Avenue, Barangay San Antonio, Pasig City where Fire District IV stood was donated by ORTIGAS and Company Inc. on the 13th day of December 1977 to the Philippine Constabulary – Integrated National Police [PC-INP](the integration of Philippine National Police, Bureau of Fire Protection, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology). It was intended to assure efficient delivery of public service to the booming business community in the area.The granting of the lot was represented by Mr. Joaquin Ramirez Jr. of ORTIGAS and Company Inc. and Hon. Juan Ponce-Enrile from the Republic of the Philippines by presenting the Deed of Donation to the Bureau of Fire Protection.It was then known “Meralco Fire Sub-station” (under the command of Pasig Central Fire Station) until June 13, 1979 when Lt. Colonel Rodolfo Villavicencio assumed post as District Fire Marshal was later changed to “Fire District IV Headquarters”. Fire District IV Headquarters today is a well-functioning government establishment with the help of the District Director, SUPT SAMUEL C TADEO, DSC BFP from the authority given by the autonomous BUREAU OF FIRE PROTECTION under the Department of the Interior and Local Government.Fire District IV Headquarters’ Head Office [Office of the District Fire Marshal], under its Area of Responsibility is the (5) five City Fire Station; Marikina City Fire Station, Pasig City Fire Station, Taguig City Fire Station, Mandaluyong City Fire Station and San Juan City Fire Station and (1) Municipal Fire Station; Pateros Municipal Fire Station.Strong Organization: “Strong in Tradition: Committed to Service” “We Serve to Save”Location: Meralco Avenue, Barangay San Antonio, Pasig City 1600Telephone No.: (02) 633-89-07 to 09
