These characteristics usually come about because of their profession; actor, artist, footballer, basketball etc. Celebrities have the ability to influence us negatively or positively. What is it we find so fascinating? Mainly, it is because we deem them as inspiration, we enjoy/like what they are engaged in or we want to have lives like their own.One of the main factors which lead to our fascination with celebrities is inspiration. We have probably heard celebrities tell their life stories about coming from low class families, being school dropouts or working low paying jobs. These stories are truly inspiring because they did not let these adversities keep them from being successful. They were persistent, determined and motivated to bring change in their lives and they did. Take Keyshia Cole for example, her mother was a drug dealer, she went through a lot of tough times as a child but luckily she was adopted. Today, she is one of the leading singers in R&B. These are qualities that we can certainly implement into our lives in order to bring about success.We develop a level of fascination for celebrities also because we admire and enjoy whatever it is that they do. We may watch movies because we are fascinated with an actor in the movie or we may look at football because we admire a player on a team or because we generally like the team. I am fascinated with Keyshia Cole because she is a unique, talented and graceful individual performing songs that I like and can relate to.Our fascination also comes about because we want to have good and wealthy lives like celebrities. We are somewhat envious of the money and huge houses that they possess and we hope to someday be like them. Celebrities are also admired for their sense of fashion. A lot of people try to imitate celebrities by the way they dress or the different hair styles they have.
