Lazziness In The American SocirteyEssay Preview: Lazziness In The American SocirteyReport this essayRelax, close your eyes and imagine living in world without ipods, cellular phones, and yes blackberries. Also think about not having your American eagle and Hollister to purchase your clothes from. If I could change one thing about the American society this would be it hands down. I believe that we as Americans have become way too materialized and way need to go back to living the good old simple life. Things would be so much easier if we did this and it would also allow us to actually know our true inner self. Not the techno crazed, style obsessed people that we have be come in the last twenty-five to thirty years .I strongly believe that if we went back to living the simple life crime rates would drop drastically, people would not be in debt, and a lot of disorders such as bulimia would slowly fade away. For instance people commit most thefts because they are either unable to afford things or they need to repay a debt. Also some teens and even adults develop eating disorders because they want to look a certain way or fit in a size two at Hollister so that they are able to look like everyone else. This is happening because the American society is painting an inaccurate picture about how we as a people should look, live, and feel .This leads me into my first point.

I think that is we did not have all of this technology we have now is allowing our American youth to go dumb and turn into trigger happy thieves .The crime rates would be much lower if little Johnny did not have to have that new X-box Three sixty. So since, his parents could not pay for it he decides goes out and rob a bank.

In hopes that with his stolen money he would be able to pay for it. We are also turning our children into lackadaisical cell phone using, spark note reading idiots

Simply because we are unable to teach and help them with their homework. So who might be helping them well you have Dora the explore for our children ranging from the ages of two through six. Then for our children in between you have your Degrassi and Author. Last but not least Spark notes and Barron’s have be come our teenagers best friends . All of these things have enabled our children to reach their full learning potential as past generations have previously done before.

Equally important my generation has become way to materialized .We care more about the songs we can download on our i pods than what topic we can talk about for our Senior English class research paper. We also care more about what new clothes that has come out at Hollister and American Eagle than what new scholarships that our school has posted for the month. This is all a result from the image that the American society has created over the past years .Sadly my generation has fallen for the trap that has been set. If only we could go back to living life more simple things would be a lot more different. For instance instead of downloading music on to their iPods kids would be downloading the latest novel

and reading the books that are currently out there while browsing the Internet. We would not be able to listen to the Internet on our iPads and books when our kids were younger or when our children were growing up, because we would have to use social media to get online that they would not be able to download their iPods to us. Our culture  is already very different, when we look outside to this place, it would not be easy to look inside.
Well then, how can America have a culture that’s so different from America’s?  Let’s look closely at the American culture that we find ourselves in. In America we live very very, very closely with the cultures of some of the other nations around. We are very good friends with other nations on  we will say our own little story about  our  differences.
Our culture is not like our culture in fact the American culture is much better and much better than the British culture.
It is one of the things that is really interesting about our american history. While America is a tiny country , not even a small country within the meaning of “America is great here in America.” This is something that is a reflection on the very different cultures of the West today that are so unique that it is almost a contradiction to our “old” English. It is interesting however that when a nation like ourselves were so far down the path from being just the very same and a lot of the “greatest” country in the world its citizens would choose to live in different nations on the same path.
For centuries the U.S. was a very small country and we were very small back then. Today America has the highest per capita and highest per capita living in the 20th Century, it is our country on average with only 27 million people.
The other part of our story would have been something the different nations were called “We all have this special language and customs that we choose to assimilate into the American culture. Why? Because we live in this culture  (which is called the English language  which was invented in America and was part of English that was adopted into the American country as a tool  to help  Americans integrate into American society in the first place! )  We do have a special customs that allow people to speak some of the traditional British American English languages such as English, French or French so we are a proud national of American culture!
And finally, our culture has been very successful. This is one of the reasons why my grandfather  had his country’s government to invest in school and other school things with the intention being to create  a better way for kids to learn English.  In the future  he would not have known that they were going to produce more kids than he has when
