According to “The Habitat of Humanity” (2011), the organizations mission statement is seeking to put Gods love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope (Mission Statement). The Habitat for Humanity enforces the organizations mission statement into parties who work within the organization. By instilling positive reinforcement into the staff and volunteers of the organization, the organizations mission statement can be used to build success.

The Habitat of Humanity seeks much of its staffing needs through volunteers within the community. The Habitat for Humanity works with local government office to offer community service programs for those individuals who must complete community service hours for a variety of reasons. Using a community service outreach programs helps the Habitat for Humanity to complete their desire goals of building better living situations for families as well as helping the individuals see the purpose behind the program, and helping the individual complete his or her community service.

According to “The Habitat of Humanity” (2011), “Affiliates for the Habitat are community level offices in which act in partnership with and on behalf of Habitat for Humanity International” (Fact Sheet). The affiliates who work with the organization are independently run and are nonprofit organization. The affiliates who work with the Habitat work to put together all aspects of the home building process within their local areas. These functions are of fundraising, building site selection, family support, construction, and mortgage services.

The Habitat for Humanity partners with community members and corporations. The larger and key corporations in which work closely together are Bank of American, Citi Foundation, The Dow Chemical Company, Lowes, Home Depot, Schneider Electric, Thrivent Financial, Whirlpool, Valspar, Wells Fargo, and Yale. Between these 11 corporate companies the average donation is about $338.1 million dollars a year. Not only do these companies donate money, they also donate workers, materials to build the homes, appliances, and mortgage services. These key corporate partners are an important part of the organizations goals of providng safe and affordable homes to those families in need. Among these key corporate partners, the Habitat of Humanity also has other corporate companies that participate in a gift matching program.

The Habitat of Humanity is a grassroots and community-oriented organization that prides itself on delivering more humane and dignified home care. As a result, we believe that it is important to share our commitment to a humane, environmentally focused, and economically sustainable home care system, and develop alternatives that will reduce the cost and delay the spread of this disease. The Habitat of Humanity has worked to create housing equity that provides housing that is affordable in terms of prices and benefits, and which provides affordable, environmentally sustainable health care. We also believe that building a stronger connection between home users, landlords, and residents provides the most value to the community. Through building new communities and investing in affordable housing to help our communities rebuild, we have demonstrated that building a more sustainable system, building a positive future for the community, and making our community happier and healthier can go a long way, because it provides equity and has the promise to give back to the people. In many ways the Habitat of Humanity does not have a monopoly on a particular product, which makes it difficult for the government, or business, and other environmental interests to profit from the products which are most readily available. These things are, however, the product of a highly efficient and economically viable system of making new home building environmentally sustainable and affordable for people of all income levels, regardless of what income level they are in. The Habitat of Human remains committed to the same goal as in 2008, and is doing just that. By partnering with the nonprofit Habitat of Human, the Habitat of Human is enabling communities of every income level, including those in the poorest, to share in the benefits of a more sustainable and sustainable home.
