Female Foeticide
The sun rises with the birth of a son, but vanishes with curse of a daughter. We can look centuries back, and even today, that most female children and women have been fight a battle, even before they arrive in the world, and where a woman is the cause of growth in mankind, she herself is slowly being disappeared by manmade laws, customs, traditions, religious beliefs and sophisticated medical technology, resulting in a lower status in society for girls as well as women. An example can be taken in India, where many social groups believe the birth of a female child is a negative investment and she is not a producer but rather a consumer. This ideology has become discrimination toward female children and women, which has buried them with negative emotions and less self-respect. With modern technology some have been killed before birth and others will die before reaching age three. Second, due to high inflation cost of living some parents cannot afford daughters, who will be a burden upon them to raise them until marriage, which will be another costly task due to the dowry system. But a son will remain in the family and will bring money, even with marriage. We need to examine what causes mankind to disrupt the balance of natural sex ratio by restructuring natural biological laws of human reproduction.

Method of Research

They were asked these following questions; 1) Are you married 2) What is your education level, 3) What is your occupation, 4) What is your spouses education level, 5) What is your spouses occupation, 6) In your opinion, how many children are suitable in an average family, 7) How many boys and girls. 8) Are you against or in favor of female foeticide.

Analysis
After finishing the survey, I concluded that most of the women were illiterate and housewives, where they gained less education, nor there were any government organization which could have inform them about any special programs on family planning, sex ratio, and equality of male and female child in this modern society. They dont know about their rights and fourteen out of twenty women were in favor of female foeticide .

The status of a woman in society can be relevant by their economic role, health, education, and performance in the professional world. The religious believes have given women the last preference, where she will server, first her father, then husband and after, her son. Therefor she is powerless to any decisions regarding her rights.
