Essay Task Christian Principal Beliefs
“Being church means being gods people, in accordance with the great plan of his fatherly love… it means proclaiming and bringing gods salvation into our world… the church must be a place of mercy freely given, where everyone can feel welcomed, loved, forgiven and encouraged to live the good life of the gospel.” – Pope FrancisThe Christian community are highlighted for their significant beliefs about the way they  live their lives and carry out our day to day actions, in this exposition i will be outlining three major points that contribute significantly to core Christian beliefs. The First argument i will be outlining is the belief that all christians are made in the image of god, and that we are all children of god , then i will be deconstructing the idea of christians and non-christians understanding of the human person and conclusively i will be describing the Significant importance of baptism through the christian perspective. all of these beliefs strongly support christians significant beliefs  Christians have the idea that all are made equal in the image of god. Christians worship god as they believe that he created the earth and everything thats on earth from humans to volcanos, its believed that all are created by god. There are many beliefs about the belonging of christians and the belief that they are all created in the image of god is a common one that is used extremely often. Christians believe that all human beings are made in the image of God and so are to be cherished.  This refers to the ethical teaching on the sanctity of all life, and how god sees everyone as equal. The value of a person’s life should not be reduced to their contribution but to life itself this is supported by gods statement in the bible “ all humans are created equal” this is further elaborating gods acceptance of every human. “Do no evil that good may come of it:” some kind acts are evil and should never be performed, even their omission can have very bad consequences, This can be seen through the nine plagues. in the nine plagues God sent word that every person who believes in god must wipe a lambs blood on their front door, or the eldest son will be killed. The nine plagues came wiping out crops, wealth and even human life, through Gods actions we can see that he doesnt take kindly to people who dont believe in his cause. Contrastingly gods belief that he forgives all sinners is challenged by the story of the nine plagues. Moreover the tale of noah’s ark further depicts the sheer brutality of god towards people who dont believe. Through these arguments we have the ability to create insight into the moral Christians beliefs, that have been created by the actions of god and his followers. The belief that we are all children of god has been around since the first scriptures, and has allowed christians to feel loved and as if they belong. We are all children of god this belief is used in almost all of the scriptures, some of the scripture this belief is portrayed in are; psalms, Hosea, matthew, Luke, John and multiple others. God states that he has created all forms of life and he looks over and protects them, this is supported through the dialogue in psalm 82:6 “ all of you are the children of the most high”, this further elaborates the belief that god views us as his children in a metaphorical sense not a physical. Through this evidence we are able to see what the true christian beliefs of gods views on us as his children are.
