Women and men have been addicted with each other since Adam and Eve Are woman from Venus and men from Mars? Are gender difference rooted in the brain? If so explain

I believe it would depend on whether or not the question is addressing the biological brain, or the mindset of a person. Regarding the biological brain, the activity structures are built in different for each gender most of the time. According to an article on the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the USA, the brain activities of females are different from that of males (Azim, 2012) The way they used to test this is to see the brain activities from 20 test subjects (10 for each gender) and analyze the response for each gender towards humor. Both genders share the same response strategy, however; females “activate the left prefrontal cortex more than males, suggesting a greater degree of executive processing and language-based decoding. Females also exhibit greater activation of mesolimbic regions, including the nucleus accumbens, implying greater reward network response and possibly less reward expectation. These results indicate sex-specific differences in neural response to humor with implications for sex-based disparities in the integration of cognition and emotion.” (Azim, 2012)

Nevertheless, it is different when we speak about the mindset of an individual. I believe there are several factors that can affect what we call gender differences. First of all, females have been the submissive gender throughout history; therefore it has heavy impact on the mindset of an individual and can force herself to act in a certain way. However, if we take a look at todays society, there are many females that share the same mindset as males, and vice versa. Another different is culture, and the nurture environment. Unlike the biological brain, the mindset of someone can be heavily affected by his/her nurturing environment. If a female/male is raised in a conservative society, the gender differences are not there naturally, but were implanted by his/her society.
